Shaun started his career as an apprentice in manufacturing and over a career of more than 25 years he progressed as a manager into senior leadership roles. He led teams bidding for and delivering major infrastructure projects with significant technical complexity and high profile customers. From this business experience he understands the challenges of operating at executive board level in a global matrixed business.​

During his successful executive career Shaun discovered a passion for developing leaders through coaching. As an executive coach Shaun can combine his understanding of business context with a high degree of empathy, and appropriately stretch clients thinking to create insights they can apply.​

Shaun has been coaching since 2016 in the private and public sectors, initially as part of his leadership repertoire and now as an independent executive coach.  

Shaun is particularly passionate about developing talent to be ready for the next big challenge whether it’s a new senior role or dealing with changing environment.

Shaun likes to create the space for his clients to self-discover, so that they raise their own awareness. His style is non-directive, whilst also being challenging so that clients can achieve their potential. 

He ensures clients stay focused on the stated outcomes and will hold them accountable for their progression and development journey.​

Shaun has completed foundational coach training and is currently studying for a Diploma in Transformational Coaching, which will lead to him becoming a professionally accredited executive coach. Shaun completed an MBA during his business career.​
